Campaign Resource Manager

Project Management and Events Committee

The Campaign Resource Manager will assist YASM through assessing the campaign needs. Thus, you will be instrumental in the process of facilitating and planning for the finances through providing the Base Campaign Project Lead with regular resource management reports, overviews, and recommendations to ensure the effective utilization of financial, material, and human resources. You will receive guidance from the Co-Chairs of the Project Management and Events committee and your Campaign lead. Likewise, you will be collaborating across committees to communicate and monitor the resource allocation while evaluating the level of achievement of the identified targets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess campaign resource requirements and develop budgets for every campaign
  • Advise the campaign teams on resource administration to support ensuring campaigns are conducted within budget constraints
  • Maintain financial records, including processing invoices and organizing expense reports
  • Provide regular overviews of financial performance and risk assessments through detailed reports
  • Assist and collaborate with the Base Campaign Project Lead and other team members
  • Pre-establish criteria for judgment and the continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of the input-output relationship throughout the campaign
  • Ensure finance tasks are assigned according to skills and potential and are thus shared fairly within the campaign team for an optimal performance

  • Team player — People orientated, excellent communicator, cooperative, interact well with the community, collaborative spirit and collective interests.
  • Great Analytical Skills including facility with data manipulation.
  • Financial literacy combined with critical thinking skills.
  • Outstanding Organizational skills ( multitasking, strategic planning, Decision making, forecasting, prioritization, ability to meet deadlines, etc).
  • Detail and goal oriented with a real passion for numbers
  • Problem solver and open to continually learn.
  • Digital skills — familiarity with or interest and willingness to learn different digital platforms such as social media, using Zoom and other digital platforms for meeting, online collaborative platforms such as Slack / WhatsApp
  • Creative and innovative mindset

Evaluation

The first three months of the volunteer experience will be an orientation period with an evaluation upon completion of the orientation period. All volunteers will have an opportunity for check-ins every 60 days with formal evaluations from the committee Co-Chairs every six months about their work and performance to help guide them in their professional development.

Training and Supervision

  • 10-15 hours per week
  • Flexible hours that are result oriented; occasionally more hours (temporarily) as needs arise
  • Activities and meetings will be set collaboratively to fit volunteers’ schedules
  • Commitment includes time required to communicate with Co-Chairs and of  Project Management and Events Committee
